Kate started painting through Adult Education and completed an A level art in 1998 and then joined her local village art group.

Since moving from Norfolk to Peterborough in 2011, Kate has joined Peterborough Art Society and two other art groups, enjoying the demonstrations which she has found very enriching and informative and has now taken on the role of Programme Secretary to Peterborough and Castor groups.

She works mainly in oils but keeps a sketchbook and likes to sketch in pen together with a watercolour tint. Kate loves nature and the landscape, especially the wonderful skies which she likes to capture, but has completed a couple of portraits too.
