Chris Pavely

I'm a recently semi retired freelance Illustrator with over 35 years experience in cartoons and Illustrations for magazines, advertising, and educational illustration, among other uses. In pen and ink, gouache, and airbrush, and more latterly digital. I've included only some recent work now that I have a bit more time to explore other ways of doing things for my own interest. Including my first three attempts at oil painting (inspired by Rudyard Kipling) and my first attempt at Acrylics, just completed (Fen Beagle).

I'm mostly working on natural subjects at this time, with attention to detail and natures complexity. Enjoying the freedom of doing what takes my fancy and not what I'm told. Although still taking commissions.
